Floating advertising screens? If you imagine it, it is probably possible
Can you imagine driving down the highway to Toluca and seeing giant floating screens on the side of the road? In the world of advertising, we’re always looking for new ways to capture the public’s attention and make our campaigns more impactful. One idea that has recently emerged is the possibility of having giant advertising screens suspended in the air that can move automatically for maintenance. This idea sounds futuristic and exciting, but is it really possible? Does it seem crazy to you? Maybe it’s not so crazy after all.
But the size of the screens does matter
However, there are some physical and technological limitations that we must be aware of. First, the maximum size that a giant screen could currently be is limited by the structural strength of the materials used. As the size of the screen increases, the amount of force it must withstand also increases. This requires stronger and more durable materials, which can be expensive and complicated to manufacture.
Also, auto-scrolling these screens presents technical challenges. First, engines and propulsion systems powerful enough to move a large structure in the air would be required. It would also be necessary to have sensors and navigation systems that allow the screen to move safely and accurately. These systems must be reliable and efficient to ensure optimum performance. But maybe the screens don’t have to scroll, but just float. As current magnetic trains do. Although good, these do move, but always on a track.
What is the maximum size a giant screen can be?
Regarding the theoretically possible maximum size for a giant screen, it is difficult to determine precisely. Currently, the largest giant screens in the world have dimensions of around hundreds of square meters. However, if we could overcome technological and structural limitations, it would theoretically be possible to create giant screens with much larger dimensions.
Technology and engineering continue to advance by leaps and bounds , so we cannot rule out the possibility of having floating advertising screens in the future. However, it is important to note that there are still technical challenges and physical limitations that need to be overcome to make this idea a reality.
In summary, while the idea of Having free-standing, floating giant screens sounds exciting, we are still far from making it a reality. Although theoretically possible, there are technological and structural challenges that need to be overcome. However, with the continuous advancement of technology, we cannot rule out the possibility that in the future we will see floating advertising displays that will capture the public’s attention in a whole new way. For now we see screens throughout Mexico City and Monterrey. Maybe one day we will see them in space, on the moon and on Mars. A bit crazy, but as Albert Einstein said, “people who have never made a mistake never try anything new”
